Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon Course Maps

Participants mount just outside of transition and ride a short distance on Cahuilla Park Road before turning left on Jefferson Street and exiting the park. Riders continue on Jefferson, which turns into Avenue 58. Riders turn right on Madison Street into the loop, left on Avenue 60, left on Van Buren Street, left on Airport Boulevard, and left on Madison Street. Riders then turn right on Avenue 58 to exit the loop, and follow Jefferson and Cahuilla Park Road back to transition. Note: Both the sprint and Olympic distance races take place on the same day, and both races use the same bike course. Sprint distances riders do one loop, while Olympic distance riders do two loops.

 

Click here for triathlon & duathlon run course – NOTE: For the initial one mile run of the duathlon, participants will start on the beach near the swim start, run north into the campground, and follow the run course on the map back to transition.

Riders continue on Jefferson, which turns into Avenue 58. Riders turn right on Madison Street into the loop, left on Avenue 60, left on Van Buren Street, left on Airport Boulevard, and left on Madison Street. Participants completing their first loop will continue straight on Madison past 58th to enter their second loop. Riders completing their second loop will turn right on 58th Avenue, where they follow 58th, Jefferson and Cahuilla Park Road back to transition. Sprint distances riders do one loop, while Olympic distance riders do two loops.
