12:30pm to 1:00pm – “Course Talk” with Race Director Matt Sills: We have made some changes to this year’s course, so we highly recommend you attend one of the two course talks.
1:00pm to 3:00pm – Open swim for all registered International distance triathletes. This is the only time athletes will be allowed to swim in Lake Cahuilla prior to race day.
2:30pm to 3:30pm – “Tips for the First Timer and Novice Triathlete” clinic

7:00am – “Course Talk” with Race Director Matt Sills in transition: this course talk will be an abbreviated version of the previous day’s course talk
7:30am – First wave of sprint distance races; All athletes and spectators must be inside Lake Cahuilla Recreation Area
8:30am – First wave of Olympic distance races
9:30am – Sprint distance awards
10:30am – Olympic distance awards
